Once upon a time there was a children’s book publisher that was redoing its web site. They were looking for a voice that would work better with the illustration style they had chosen. They were looking for a voice that would align with their values. They were looking for a voice that would convey their personality.
To help them find that voice, I took them on journey to discover their brand archetype. What did we learn? That Barefoot Books is “Innocent” company, one that’ s all about simplicity and authenticity, about enjoying honest pleasures and basic values, about being free to be yourself. About living Barefoot.
And from there, I not only knew exactly what to say, but how to say it.
